January 3, 2010:
I wish I could say a lot has been going on since my last update, but I can’t.

In August, I graduated from UF with my bachelors in public relations. Due to this fantastic      economy, I’m still looking for a career which would utilize my degree. For the time being I’ve been      working at my uncle’s hardware store in Fort Lauderdale.
If you know of any public relations jobs between Boca Raton and Miami, give me a shout!

In this update, pieces to the Infrared and Graphic Design galleries have been added.

I hope to have more updates coming soon.

July 8, 2009:
This summer is almost gone and I have no clue where it went. What have I been doing with       myself for the last two months?

Summer B started two weeks ago and I’ve been teaching Photoshop three times a week for my       last three credits. Everything is going smooth with the class and all the students are enjoying the       software.

On June 30, Joe of T13c called me and asked for me to check out their show at the Venue where       they were going to be opening for the Plain White T’s. I can’t refuse a free ticket to a show, so       needless to say, I grabbed my camera and went to the show. For this update, those photos are       the only new additions to the Web site. Live Music.

In the next update, I’ll be adding a few graphics which I’ve been working on for the foundation.

May 7, 2009:
The semester is done! I’m so glad that it’s behind me now. It was an enjoyable semester, but way       too stressful.

About two weeks ago my internship ended with the Harvest of Hope Foundation. Phil Kellerman,       president, was satisfied with my work with the foundation and appointed me to be the       foundation’s public relations specialist! Yeah, I’m stoked about it :).

      Now for the updates….
Photos from the Harvest of Hope Fest have been posted in the Live Music gallery, the Boston       gallery is finally up and a photo from the La Chua trail has been added to the Gainesville gallery.

Over the summer, with about five shows coming up for the Harvest of Hope Foundation, many       photos will be added to the Live Music gallery. I hope to makeit out to the trails twice a week this       summer. By doing so, the Gainesville gallery will expand, too.

April 6, 2009:
I lied since the last post. I’ve been working on the photos from Boston, but school has been       consuming most of the little free time I have.

The April 3 show which was held at the Atlantic in Gainesville raised $427 for the Harvest of       Hope Foundation. Our next benefit show will be in May with the blues artist Willie Green. More       information about this show will be available in the next four weeks.

Updates for this post include three additions to the Graphic Design gallery (Amelia's), and a few       more photos from the La Chua trail in Gainesville. Last week on the trail, there were more than
100 gators which were visible. I was hoping to go back out there this past weekend, but it was
overcast outside and the temperature wasn’t too nice. The alligators like it warm out. There’s
      always next weekend.

      Three weeks until school ends!

March 29, 2009:
It’s been almost a month since I last updated. From the previous post, the
Harvest of Hope Festival was amazing! I ended up working 50+ hours in three days, but every       minute of each of those hours was fun. Among the three days of the fest, we had about 17,000       people attend. With that being said, the second annual Harvest of Hope Fest will be happening       in 2010. The planning process for it will start within the next two month.

While on the topic of the Harvest of Hope Foundation, on April 3 the HOH foundation will be       having a benefit show at the Atlantic in Gainesville. The flier which I created for the event can       been view on the second row of the Graphic Design gallery.

All the updates that this post relates to are for graphic design. In addition to the HOH Foundation       showflier, I’ve created materials for my long-time friend, Warren Stein and his business, Murray       Realties Inc. The flier, brochure and business card can be viewed on the fifth row of the
      Graphic Design gallery.

The next update will contain photos from Boston and the La chua Trail in Gainesville.

March 3, 2009:
Two updates within 10 days? THAT’S INSANE!

On Sunday, Netalia and I went down to Micanopy to capture some photos. I thought the town was       kind of interesting. From what we saw, it seems that there’s only one main road in the town. On       that road, there are countless antique shops. Netalia brought me to an area that she knew I would       have liked. Behind a store, there were two cars that have been abandoned for quite some time.       Right when I saw the two cars, I knew I was going to have a field day. I shot all the photos with my       new 12-24mm lens and did the majority of them in HDR. Those photos can be found in the
Gainesville gallery and the Auto gallery.

February 21, 2009:
This semester is a drag- minus my amazing internship with the Harvest of Hope Foundation. It’s       weird, the class I was looking forward to, viscom, is horrible, but the class I was nervous       about, campaigns, is fun.

Being in the graphic design industry for almost six years, I know quite I bit about it. Close to 60       percent of what is being taught in the class is either out dated, or pointless. The remaining       percent is poorly taught. For example, CMYK, the K is black, but it stands for key. This has NOT       been mentioned in class. Also, how does one teach a visual communications class but NOT       teach Photoshop? How does one teach InDesign, but not inform the class about layers?

I’m going to stop stressing over this before I turn into the Hulk.

On a brighter note, my internship is amazing! I’m interning with the Harvest of Hope Foundation       which is a nonprofit organization which helps raise money for migrant farm workers and their       families. On March 6, 7 and 8, we’re having the first annual Harvest of Hope festival in St.       Augustine, Fla.Over 130 bands will be performing on four stages in addition to the pro       skateboarders and skate park which will be brought in by Red Bull.

On the 9th, after the fest, I’ll be heading to Boston for six days for my spring vacation. I’m really       looking forward to this trip because I’ve been wanting to visit Boston for a few years now. I       bought a new lens for this trip, the Tokina 12-24mm f4.

When I return, photos from both the Harvest of Hope fest and Boston will be posted.

      UPDATES:
Through my internship, Dr. K and Phil, have given me the opportunity to design two items for the       fest. One is a poster which will be sold at the event and the other is the buttons which the       volunteers will wear. Both designs can be viewed in the Graphic Design gallery (second and third       row).

Today I went to Newnansville, a ghost towns on the outskirts of Gainesville. The only remains of       the town is a cemetery which is close to 200 years old. The photos can be view in the Gainesville       gallery.

That’s it for now. Major updates will be coming up in the next four weeks.

January 16, 2009:
      News…..or lack of.
I haven’t updated in over a month. I haven’t been up to too much recently. The fall semester       started last week and I can already tell it’s going to be a long, time consuming term. Between the       15 credits and an internship, I hope to find time to go out and shoot.

Last semester ended up being a great one for me. I thought I was going to earned mostly Bs, but       I ended up getting straight As…..I didn’t even work that hard.

When I went back home for winter break, I spent one of the last days of break with Barb, one of       my long-time photo friends. We ended up going to the Palm Beach Zoo (with our camera of       course). It’s a small zoo, but it’s very nice. I’d like to go back again sometime soon.
Photos from the zoo can be viewed from the Palm Beach Zoo gallery.

Two months from now I’ll be heading north to Boston for a week where I’ll be spending my spring       break. If any fans of my work in Boston want to meet up, drop me a line, we can go shooting.

      That’s it for now.

December 5, 2008:
Four days left of the semester! I’m glad it’s almost done. Although this semester was easy, it will       be nice to have a four-week break from school. I’m looking forward to sitting at home and doing       nothing- just sitting there, sitting (playing with the dogs of course).

About two weeks ago, I got a new camera bag that I have yet to try out. I need to wait until the       weather warms up a bit until I can hit the trails with my camera gear.

As far as new work goes, I have a few random new pieces up on the site.

-In November I went on the Bolens Bluff trail in Gainesville and saw the Spanish horses for the       first time. I was surprised that the horses weren’t scared of people. I mean, I was no more than       15 feet from them and they didn’t gallop away.

      - On November 7 and 20 I saw T13c perform for the eleventy billionth time. A few photos from       their shows are in the Live Music gallery.

      - Four pieces have been added to the Graphic Design gallery, three pieces for Forever Young       Day Spa and one piece for a school project, Ziploc.

November 7, 2008:
On Nov. 4, Election Day, the Gallery at Hillel opened its doors with a new exhibit. With this       November being a political month, the themes were choice, politics and a different perspective.       In this gallery exhibit, I have seven pieces on display that were taken over the summer when I was       in Washington, D.C.
Click here to view some shots from the Hillel Gallery. (it will open in a new window)

October 25, 2008:
      It’s been a busy month.
Earlier in the month I was voted vice president of Exposure, the UF photography club. Shortly       after being voted in, from Oct. 5-18 the club had a gallery up in the Reitz Union which displayed       six pieces of mine. The gallery was a success and a lot of people viewed the gallery during the       time it was up.
Click here to view the snapshots of the gallery. (it will open in a new window)

For the month of November, I’m going to have some work on display at the Hillel here in       Gainesville. I’m currently uncertain of the total number of pieces that will be displayed, but I’ll post       an update when I’m informed.

      School…..
School’s going well. This semester isn’t too difficult, but some of my classes are time consuming.       For one of my public relations classes, I had a test and a five-page paper due on the same day. I       was excited when I was informed that I scored higher than the class average on both.

That’s it for now, I hope to have a more exciting update in the next few weeks.

September 21, 2008:
Yesterday I did my typical hike on the La chua trail. I saw the alligators that are always there and       some turtles. As I was a little more than half way through the trail, about 30 feet in front of me was       a BISON! I heard that people have seen them on the trails, but this was a first for me. I took a few       shots of it. As it got closer to me (about 15 feet), it stopped and looked at me. With the trail only       being 15 feet wide, I had nowhere to go. I went to the edge of the trail and stood still. After a few       seconds, it galloped past me then continued to graze. When it galloped past me it had to be less       than 10 feet away from me. I felt the wind that it created while passing by.

I always thought that the alligators were the coolest things I’d see on the trail, I was wrong. After       seeing the bison, I was fine with not seeing an alligator walking around or catching a fish. I hope       that I have another close encounter with a bison!

The photos can be found in the Gainesville gallery.

September 8, 2008:
Not too much has been going on. Unfortunately, there’s only one image that follows this update.

It’s the last image in the Gainesville gallery I’m going to have six pieces on display at the Reitz       Union Gallery from Oct. 5-18. You should check it out.

Sorry for the lack of excitement.

July 15, 2008:
A gallery for panoramas has been assed to the Fine Arts page.

July 2, 2008:
On Monday morning (four hours before class) I returned from my nine day trip to Washington,       D.C. For the last few years I’ve been wanting to travel to the Capital, but always ended up in a       different state instead. I had a good time in D.C., I went to a countless amount museums, saw all       of the main monuments and memorials (some of the lesser know ones, too) and hung out with my       cousin, Jessica, who lives there. Jessica invited me to stay at her apartment during my visit and       didn’t mind that I took her literally when she said, “Stay as long as you want.”

The photos from this trip can be viewed in the Washington, D.C. gallery under Fine Art.
That’s all for now and I hope you enjoy.

June 15, 2008:
I must say, it’s been a busy few weeks. Difficult courses over the summer aren’t too much
fun-especially when those classes are laws of communication and other communication       classes. I’ve gone to a few shows since the summer term started. I finally got to see The Cure on       Friday after waiting for over six months for the show. The band played an amazing three hour set       that covered many songs from their 30 year existence.

Other than music and school, I’ve gone on a few hikes in Paynes Prairie, a Florida state park.       Although I’ve completed four hikes, a total of 18.5 miles, I’ve only taken one photo- that photo       being one of my favorite wildlife shots. The photo can be found in the Gainesville gallery (third       row, third image).

That’s all for now and I hope you enjoy.

May 19, 2008:
Last week, on the 10th, I went down to the Talent Farm in Pembroke Pines to see my boys in
T13C, a Gainesville based band, perform. This summer marks three years that I’ve known
Mike and Joe from the band. I had my camera gear with me the first time I saw them, and I
had it with me eleventy billionth time.

I think it’s time for me to get a photo with them.

A new gallery titled Live Music was created for this show (under Fine Art).

May 10, 2008:
It’s been a while since I last updated, about two months. I’m currently on the first summer break of       the season. It’s nice to be able to wake up and not have to worry about writing a paper or going       to class. Now that I have a few free days, it’s the ideal time to update the Web site.

I haven’t been able to shoot as much as I’d like to (due to school). But the few times I’ve gone
out I captured some interesting images.

      1. Gainesville_Bivens_Arm_001 (first image of the gallery)
About three weeks ago I went to Bivens Arm and came across this five foot gator. Rather than       getting away from it, I thought it would be far more exciting to get some close ups of the reptile.       After kneeling down only seven feet away from the alligator, I was able to walk away with all 10       fingers.

      2. UFprssa_logo

      3. Sk8 (last image of the gallery)
The idea of this photo came to me when I was driving down from Gainesville. This photo only       took two tries and wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be.

March 16, 2008:
I got back from spring break about eight hours ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t get out to shoot during       the 10 days I was down. I just posted some photos a few days before I headed back to       Plantation, Fla. Hope you enjoy…Don’t molest the gators. Gainesville

January 15, 2008:
Along with the new year, new galleries have been added.
Gainesville and New Smyrna are the two photo galleries that have been recently added.
The Gainesville gallery will slowly expand as time progresses.
Three new pieces have been added to the Graphic Design area of the site: "Compass,"       "Ladyfish_Promo_Flyer" and "SPC2300."

Within the next seven months I hope to have the opportunity to travel to both Boston and Israel.       Like always, the photos will be uploaded upon my return.

Hope you enjoy the new galleries!

November 27, 2007:
I did a promo shoot with the Jacksonville-based band “Ladyfish” on the tenth of November. The       shoot took place in the 13th street tunnel in Gainesville (on the UF campus). It’s been a few years       since the last band shoot, but it was nice to break away from the “typical style” of shooting. The       photos can be viewed here: Ladyfish Promo.

November 4, 2007:
It’s been a while since I last updated the Web site or sent out a news letter.

Many may know that I’ve been studying at Broward Community College in order to transfer to UF.       Over the summer I received my AA from BCC, now I’m attending UF and living in Gainesville,       Fla.

I’m hoping that in the next two weeks I’ll be able to take some photos of the campus and post       them on the Web site.

I have finally added the Auto Gallery to the new Web site.

A somewhat new addition to the site is the Mountain Dew dew DIY gallery. dewDIY was a contest       sponsored by Mountain Dew in which students from different universities created art or gear that       promoted the beverage. The images I worked with for the contest were photos that I took on       various photo shoots.

      - Nov. 6. Bill Nye “The Science Guy” will be presenting a speech at UF. I hope someone gets       tased so Nye can explain the mechanics behind it.

      - Oct. 15. Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the late Mahatma Gandhi, did a spoken words       presentation here at UF. The stories he told from when he spent time with his grandfather were       amazing. It comes to no surprise that Gandhi’s speech reminded me very much of the one that       the Dalai Lama made in South Florida back in 2004.

      - Oct. 13. I went to the T13C video shoot for their song “From the Stereo,” it was a lot of fun. The       only downside to the shoot was the fact that we listened to the same song over and over again       for 3 hours. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.

      - Oct. 12. The world renowned photographer Jerry Uelsmann had about 50 pieces of his work on       display at the University Gallery. It was truly amazing to see his work in person. His elaborate       post-processing always amazed me, but to see the final images in person and see how sterile       his work is, it’s mind boggling. After viewing the wonderful exhibit I had the opportunity to       interview Uelsmann for an article I’m writing for my reporting class. During the interview I was       extremely nervous, I reached levels of nervousness that I never knew existed. In the past I’ve met       and interviewed countless musicians such as Vanilla Ice, Art from Everclear, Dickie from the       Bosstones, T13C, Against All Authority, New Found Glory, Sugar Cult and Gary Fong, but       nervousness and stress didn’t faze me. I was a train wreck when I was speaking to Uelsmann!

May 23, 2007:
On May 9th I got back from San Francisco. The trip was great and the weather was
perfect! It’s definitely a fun city. The only downside to the trip (besides the hills) was: after landing       back in Fort Lauderdale, I had to be in class 3 hours later.

ALSO, as you can see, DigitalGreg has been remodeled.
      Hope you enjoy.

March 17, 2007:
Five new images have been added to the Infrared Gallery.

February 10, 2007:
Here are the images from St Augustine, FL.
The approach I took with these photos is different then my typical "photo journalistic" style. A       dreary fantasy is what these photos resemble. Hope you enjoy!

February 8, 2007:
The new event calendar for the 2007 year is up.
On January 24, 2007 I was informed that I was accepted to the University of Florida (UF).
In August I will be relocating to Gainesville to further my education in Public Relations.

January 3rd I voyaged north to St. Augustine for a mini get-a-way with Diana. A few stress free       and relaxing days were needed before school went back in session. A great time was had by       both. The architecture and history that the city holds is unbelievable.
The photos from St Augustine will be online soon.

December 6, 2006:
Photos from Barbie & Chris' Wedding are now viewable to the public.
      Barbie & Chris' Wedding

November 16, 2006:
Barbie & Chris' Wedding which was on the 12th at the Plantation Preserve Golf Course was very       nice. Stay tuned for those images.

Images from Barbie & Chris' Engagement Shoot are now viewable to the publc. (click the link       below) Barbie & Chris' Engagement Shoot

September 7, 2006:
I got back from New York on the 4th. Like my last Trip to Gainesville, the Weather wasn’t great,       but atleast i was able to snap a few pictures.
The photos from New York (Central Park) can be viewed from the link below:
      New York (August 31 - September 4, 2006)

August 24, 2006:
I got back from Gainesville a few days ago, the Weather wasn’t particularly great so I didn’t have       the opportunity to take any pictures...but there’s always next month!

Summer classes went well, from the 3 classes I took I got 2 As and 1 B.
